After being repeatedly asked the question by landlords “will you start doing lettings?” we have succumbed.
After huge success in our sales department over the past 12 years which culminated in 2025 with JP Harll winning Best in Postcode by the ESTAS and winning Gold for Selby as judged by the British Property Awards for the second time and being classed as Excellent in the Best Estate Agent Guide, following being voted as the Best Single Estate Agent in Yorkshire and Humberside region in 2018 by the Property Academy in conjunction with Rightmove we have made the momentous decision to enter into the world of Lettings in 2026.
As we are an ISO9001:2015 accredit company we will be extending our management service standard to incorporate our lettings department, so that you can be sure of receiving the same standard of care for your rental properties as you receive when selling your home with us.
In our initial stages of launching our lettings department, we will only be offering our landlord services to existing clients of JP Harll and/or Financial Options. This is to prevent overwhelming staff who are looking to offer a superior standard of service to clients and in the initial weeks, this will include landlords who already have their tenants in-situ.
As in our residential sales department, we will only be taking on properties within a 10-mile radius of our YO8 4DS postcode to ensure we can easily reach the property in times of need.
We will be offering our services to owners of Freehold residential properties with an EPC rating of ‘C’ or above to ensure good energy performance and be ready for when the proposed new legislation arrives.
